Solution

The correct option is A Protection of ozone layer
Recognising the deleterious effects of ozone layer depletion, the Montreal Protocol (an international treaty) was signed at Montreal (Canada) in 1987 (effective in 1989) to control the emission of ozone depleting substances and to protect ozone layer. Subsequently, many more efforts have been made and protocols have laid down definite roadmaps, separately for developed and developing countries, for reducing the emission of CFCs and other ozone depleting chemicals.

Joint Forest Management (JFM) has been introduced by the government of India in 1980s in order to protect and manage forests by working closely with the local communities.

The Kyoto Protocol was brought forth in order to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, thereby, helping us to fight global warming.

Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 was passed by the government of India in order to control and prevent pollution of environment.
