Smelting step in extraction of Zinc -
$Z n O + C \to Z n + C O$
$2 Z n O + C \to 2 Z n + C O_{2}$
$C O_{2} + C \to 2 C O$

Smelting step in extraction of Lead -
$P b O + C \to P b + C O$

Smelting step in extraction of iron -
$F e_{2} O_{3} + 3 C O \to 2 F e + 3 C O_{2}$

But aluminium is not extracted by smelting process. It is extracted by electrolysis of aluminium chloride.
