Solution

William Gilbert (1544-1603) was an English scientist and physician who is credited by many as the “father of electricity and magnetism.

Even though the basic laws were made by people like Faraday, he is considered the father as he wae the first one to experiment with magnet and electricity.

The laws of magnetism was based on real experiments.
