Question

Why do we consider light as rays if we see it in the real world in the form of images only?

Solution

Light being Ray's and seeing world as images are two different topics.
Light are a combination of Ray's emitted from sun. When these Ray's impact an object they will reflect and when these reflected Ray's reach the eye of an observer, more clearly spoken when these Ray's intersect at the retina of the observer, the image is formed.Thats how we see the world.
