Why do you think adolescents are more prone to drug abuse than young children ? Give reasons.

Adolescence is the formative period of both physical and physiological health and is the preparatory phase for the adult life. During this period, an individual moves out from the childhood periphery and initiates to identify his/her position in relation to the outer world. Further, he/she undergoes physiological and behavioral transformations and acquires higher levels of moral standings. That's why adolescents are more prone to drug abuse than a young child.
