Why does the Filament of an electric bulb made up of Tungsten or Nichrome.Can the filament of an electric bulb made by Cupper.If no,justify your answer.

Tungsten and nichrome have a very high melting points above in 2000-3300 K range, so when the current it passed through them they do not melt away easily and led to the fusing of the bulb. While copper whose melting point is around 1350 K melts easily as compared to the other two filament material hence is not used.
