Question

Why is uniform circular motion specified as uniform accelerated motion?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student

yes, the uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion because as it moves along a circular path its speed remains constant but the direction of the body changes at every instant of time. As the direction changes the velocity of the body also changes. Therefore uniform circular motion is specified as uniform accelerated motion.
