Write a short note on the fauna of the temperate grasslands of Asia.

Temperate grasslands have a low diversity of wildlife but a high abundance of wildlife. It has predators like Cheetals,Lion,in north Merida carnivores like wolves,fox,coyotes,badgers and black footed ferrets.

Grazers- in grassland of North America animals like antelope buffalo,bison,pronghorn are found while on plain and short grasslands deer and chomp are found

Many small mammals like mice,jack rabbit,rattlesnake,prairie dog,ground squirrels and pocket gophers are also available.

A combination of carnivores and herbivores make a balance of grasslands
