Dear Vinay,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I write this letter to you with some elder sisterly advice. I hope you take it seriously and not disappoint me.
I was saddened yesterday when I learnt that you failed in the final exam. Mother and I had a lengthy chat yesterday and she is as upset as I am. I remember, a year ago, you were very good at studies and would routinely excel in all subjects. At every open house, teachers were all praises for you. What changed Vinay? Is it because you are spending more time playing sports?
There is nothing wrong to be interested in sports. Everyone in the family will support you if you decide to make a career in it. But it is important that you pay attention towards studies too because this is an essential year. If you want admission to a good college and earn your degree, you have to work hard and study. Only then would you be able to make your dreams come true.
I advise you to be more attentive towards studies and cut down on the time you spend ons ports. If you work hard this year, you would reap its benefits all your life. I hope you correct all the mistakes and be more attentive and alert. I sincerely pray that you perform well in your studies this year and put our worries to rest.
Yours truly,
Anjana
