  • H2SO3 is a chemical compound with the chemical name Sulphurous Acid.
  • It consists of 2 hydrogens(H),1 sulphur(S) and 3 oxygen(O) atoms
  • Sulphurous acid is also called Sulphur dioxide solution or dihydrogen trioxosulfate or trioxosulfuric acid.
  • It is an intermediate species to produces acid rain from sulphur dioxide(SO2).
  • Trioxosulfuric acid is a liquid without colour and has a pungent burning sulphur smell
  • It is corrosive to tissue and metals.
