This series can be divided into two series :

( 5, 15, 23, 29, 33 ) and

( 4, 7, 11, ? )

Adding even numbers in the first series in decreasing order from 10,

5 + 10 = 15

15 + 8 = 23

23 + 6 = 29

29 + 4 = 33

Adding consecutive numbers in the second series starting from 3 ,

4 + 3 = 7

7 + 4 = 11

So the next term would be,

11 + 5 = 16

Hence,
