Solution

Number of red balls =5

Let the number of blue balls =x

Total number of balls =x+5

Now we find the probability (drawing a red ball)=numberofredballstotalnumberofballs=5x+5

Now we find the probability (drawing a blue ball ) =numberofblueballstotalnumberofballs=xx+5

According to the question from above equations we get ,

xx+5=25x+5xx+5=10x+5x=10

Hence the number of blue balls is 10
