Solution

Step 1: Find the number of student

Length of classroom =10m

Breadth of classroom =6.4m

Height of classroom =5m

Areaofclassroom=length×breadth

=10×6.4=64m2

Each student is given1.6m2 of the floor area.

Total number of students =641.6=40

Step 2: Find the amount of air each student will get

Volumeofclassroom=length×breadth×height

=10×6.4×5=320m3

Air occupied by class=320m3

Amount of air each student will get =Volumeofclassroomno.ofstudents=32040=8m3.

Hence, the amount of air each student will get is 8m3.
