Solution

There are two cases for the scenario mentioned in the question-

Reversible change:-

  • These are the various types of changes that can be reversed, that is the change can happen backwards.
  • These changes are generally temporary, that is they are not permanent.
  • When we draw something on a sheet using a pencil, we know that it can be erased using an eraser.
  • Thus we can call this a reversible change.
  • As we can erase the drawing and regain the sheet again.

Irreversible changes:-

  • These are the various types of changes that cannot be reversed, that is the change cannot happen backwards.
  • These changes are permanent in nature, and thus we cannot obtain the state before the change again.
  • When we draw something on a sheet using a pen or colours, we know that it cannot be erased using an eraser and is rather very difficult to erase.
  • Thus we can call this an irreversible change.
  • As we cannot erase the drawing done with the pens or colours and regain the sheet back again.
