Solution

Let's find the fraction with given details.

Let us assume the numerator to be x and the denominator to be y.

Hence the fraction becomes = xy

According to the given condition

(x-1)y=13y=3x-3(1)

According to the second given condition,

x(y+8)=14y+8=4xy=4x-8(2)

Combining (1) and (2) we get,

3x-3=4x-83x-4x=-8+3-x=-5x=5

from (1)

y=15-3y=12

So, the fraction is 512

Hence, the fraction is 512.
