Step 2. Formula Used,

The displacement is given as,

x=ut+12at2, u= initial velocity

a = acceleration

t= time

Step 3. Calculating the initial velocity,

Comparing with the given expression,

x=25t+6t2x=5t+6t2+2

x=ut+12at2

5t+6t2+2=ut+12at2

Comparing coefficient of t, we get u=-5m/s,

12at2=6t2a=12m/s2

The initial velocity of the particle is -5m/s.
