Height of cylinder (h) = 4 cm

Radius of cylinder (r)= 7/2 cm=3.5 cm

Bowl is filled with soup to a height of4cm, so h = 4 cm

We have to find out how much soup the hospital has to prepare daily to serve 250 patients

Solution

Volume of Cylinder = (πr2h)

(22/7)×(3.5)2×4 = 154

= 154 cm

Volume of soup for 250 patient = 250 × Volume of cylinder.

= 250 × 154

= 38,500 cm3

Answer

Hence, 38,500cmsoup is needed daily to serve 250 patients.
