Draw the distance-time graph graph

  1. Let the distance of the house from the office be x
  2. Here the person goes to his office at a certain speed which is x meter from his home in one hour, so the graph has a constant speed till the person reaches the office and then did not move anywhere for the next two hours, so the graph is a constant but then reaches home in half an hour so the graph has more slope because he returns to home with more speed, and the graph reaches to x coordinate.

Hence, the shape of the graph is a trapezium.
