  • It is also known as melmac.
  • This type of plastic does not break even when they fall down i.e.; they are unbreakable.
  • It is a copolymer.

Copolymer: A polymer in which 2 different monomer units are polymerise to form a polymer.

  • Example: Melamine plastic, monomer units are Melamine (2, 4, 6-Triamino-1, 3, 5- triazine) and Formaldehyde (HCHO)
