Solution

Streamline flow:

  1. A form of fluid flow in which the fluid moves in predictable patterns is called streamline flow.
  2. The speed, pressure, and other fluid parameters stay constant at each location in a streamlined flow.
  3. Whenever shear stress interacts with liquids or fluid, it moves. This shear stress or force is operating parallel to the liquid's bottom. Throughout the instance of a flowing stream, the earth's gravitational force is working on it and drawing it downwards.

Tangent on streamline:

  1. A tangent formed from any position on the streamline indicates the liquid's or fluid's direction of the flow.
  2. Because two tangents (distinct) at a place suggest two separate directions of flowing fluid, this is not conceivable. As a result, the two streamlines do not intersect in streamlined flow.

Therefore, a straight or curved path, such that tangent to it at any point gives the direction of flow of liquid at that point is known as streamline.
