breadth of table top $\left(b\right)=1m50cm=1m+0.50m=1.50m$ [As $1cm=0.01m$]

Table top is is in the shape of rectangle .

We know that area of rectangle is given by $=lxb$

Therefore, area of table top $=2x1.50$

$=3m^2$

Hence the area of table top is $3m^2$
