  1. In projectile motion, an object is thrown at some angle with the help of an external force and then moves freely under the influence of gravity and air resistance.
  2. In relative projectile motion, we compare the position of both the projectiles or relative acceleration of one projectile with another.

Explanation:

  1. For projectile, acceleration is always -g. It is negative as it works opposite to gravity.
  2. The magnitude of the acceleration for both projectiles will be -g.
  3. So, the relative acceleration between two projectiles = -g – (-g) = 0.

Hence, the acceleration of a projectile relative to another projectile is 0.
