AIDS is a disorder developed by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) affecting the human immune system. AIDS can develop without any symptoms for a long time. The initial signs of this disorder may be a brief phase of respiratory illness such as fever, cough and fatigue. When the infection develops, it gradually interferes with the immune system, people who are suffering from the disorder will become too vulnerable and more prone to serious infections such as tuberculosis, tumours, asthma, etc.
