  • Alicyclic compounds may have one or more aliphatic side chains attached.
  • Alicyclic compounds do not have π electron delocalization or aromatic character
  • Examples: Cyclopropane, Cyclobutane, Cyclopentane, Cyclopentene, Cyclohexane, Cyclohexene, etc.
