  2. They are brought about by factors other than infections.
  3. In the case of genetic disorders, disease transmission occurs from parent to offspring.
  4. In terms of preventing disease, societal hygiene is inefficient.
  5. Diabetes, cancer, etc are some examples of non-infectious diseases.
