The velocity of the liquid that is leaving through one of the pipes, v2=1.5m/s

The cross-sectional area of the pipes mentioned above = A

The cross-sectional area of the pipe through which the liquid is leaving with an unknown velocity = 1.5A

Step 2: Finding the velocity of the liquid leaving through the pipe of cross-sectional area 1.5A:

We know that the volume of the liquid entering the pipe = the volume of the liquid leaving the pipe.
