Vijayanagara empire was located in the Deccan plateau region of South India. This Kingdom was founded in 1336 A.D. by the brothers Harihara I and Bukka Raya I of the Sangama dynasty. The eventual collapse of Vijayanagara Empire was as a result of the battle fought between the Vijayanagara empire and the Deccan Sultanates.
