Solution

Flame and its zones

  • A flame may be divided into three zones.
  • Since there is plenty of air around a flame in the outer zone, full fuel combustion occurs, and water in a test tube boils fast in this zone.
  • The outer zone is blue due to full combustion.
  • When compared to the other zones, this one has the highest temperature.
  • The non-luminous section of the flame is this blue zone.
  • The center zone is the yellow-colored region that is the brightest part of the flame.
  • The middle zone is a fairly heated zone with a restricted oxygen supply.
  • The flame's inner zone is black.

Non-luminous zone is the flame's outermost zone.

  • Anu should boil the water in the flame's hottest zone, which is the flame's outermost zone or non-luminous zone.
  • Since the uppermost zone provides the greatest heat, the non-luminous zone is optimal for fast boiling water.
