Are polythene and PVC examples of thermosetting plastic?

A thermosetting plastic is a polymer that irreversibly becomes rigid when heated. Thermoplastics can be repeatedly softened by heating and hardened by cooling. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC ) is one of the most commonly used thermoplastic polymers. Polythene also belongs to thermoplastics.
