Conductivity depends on the ions which are present in it, ie conductivity is directly proportional to the number of ions present in the unit volume of the solution
so conductivity will be according to the number of ion passed through the solution
example of pure water and salty water can be taken. pure water will not be having more conductivity but salty water will have more conductivity because salts or ions are dissolved in the solution thus conductivity increases
as we dilute the solution concentration goes down
