Solution: No source of energy can be pollution-free. Every source of energy has some type of pollution. For example, the wastes of nuclear reaction are very dangerous to the environment.
No energy can be pollution-free energy
Energy is the vital ingredient in the building block of life. Each action in our day to day life is energy-dependent. The various forms of energy are solar energy, hydro electrical energy, nuclear energy and so on.
- No source of energy can be completely pollution-free. Yet sometimes, solar cells are considered to be pollution-free but their manufacturing may cause environmental damage.
- Now take the case of nuclear energy, the waste produced after fusion is zero. But the wastes that are produced during fission are hazardous. Hence, we can say that no source of energy is pollution-free.
