Some of the measures that can make schools environment-friendly are:

1. A communication desk for teachers and students where you can inform about leaking pipes so that they can be quickly repaired by a school plumber.
2. Teachers and students must ensure that all lights and fans are switched off at the end of the day or when not necessary.
3. Waste segregation bins for biodegradable waste and non-biodegradable waste must be established throughout the school.
4. School buses must be used as transport method. For shorter distances, bicycle or walking must be encouraged.
5. Reuse of old notebooks and textbooks must be encouraged.
