Kharif Crops:

  1. Kharif crops are those that are sown during the rainy season. (in India, sometimes referred to as the summer or monsoon crop).
  2. During the southwest monsoon season, in July, when the first rains arrive, Kharif crops are often sown.

Rabi Crops:

  1. The harvesting of the crop is referred to as Rabi. Rabi Crops are those that are raised during the winter, from November to April.
  2. Wheat, barley, peas, gram, and mustard are a few significant rabi crops.
