Consider a circular loop of wire lying in the plane of the table. Let the current pass through the loop clockwise. Apply the right-hand rule to find out the direction of the magnetic field.
Right-hand rule:
If we hold the conductor inside the palm of our right hand with the thumb pointing the magnetic field's direction, the direction wherein our fingers curl indicates the direction of the current.
A circular loop of wire carrying current:
The current flows clockwise via a circular loop, as shown in the diagram. This same right-hand thumb rule may be utilized to determine the direction of the magnetic field surrounding the conductor.

The direction of magnetic feild will be downward. Inside the loop it will be downwars and outside the loop it will be outward in direction.
