Step 2: Reduce the fraction to the lowest term -

HCF of $2\&10$ -

$$\begin{gathered} 2=1\times 2 \\ 10=2\times 5 \end{gathered}$$

HCF $=2$

Divide both the numerator and denominator by HCF -

$\frac{2}{10}=\frac{2÷2}{10÷2}=\frac{1}{5}$

Hence, $0.2$ in fractional form is $\frac{1}{5}.$
