To find the total parts we add the ratio
$\Rightarrow$ Total parts $= 1 + 2 + 5$
$= 8$
Percentage of first part $= \frac{F i r s t p a r t}{T o t a l p a r t s} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ $= \frac{1}{8} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ Percentage of first part $= 12.5 %$
Percentage of second part $= \frac{S e c o n d p a r t}{T o t a l p a r t s} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ $= \frac{2}{8} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ Percentage of second part $= 25 %$
Percentage of third part $= \frac{T h i r d p a r t}{T o t a l p a r t s} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ $= \frac{5}{8} \times 100$
$\Rightarrow$ Percentage of second part $= 62.5 %$
Hence, the percentage of the first part of the ratio is $12.5 %$ , the percentage of the second part of the ratio is $25 %$ and the percentage of the third part of the ratio is $62.5 %$ .
