Define degree of a plynomial with its types

The highest or greatest degree of a variable in a polynomial is called the degree of a polynomial.

Example for degree of a polynomial

2x2+2x-364=0 Degree is 2

11x7+2×3-34x- 86=0 Degree is 7

The polynomial with different degrees are assigned different names. For example:

Degree 0 is called Constant Polynomial
Degree 1 is called Linear Polynomial
Degree 2 is called Quadratic Polynomial
Degree 3 is called Cubic Polynomial
Degree 4 is called Quartic Polynomials
