Pascal is the SI unit of pressure.
We know that pressure is the perpendicular force acting per unit area.
i.e., $p r e s s u r e = \frac{f o r c e}{a r e a}$ or $P = \frac{F_{⊥}}{A}$
If $F_{⊥} = 1 N a n d A = 1 m^{2}$
then, $P = \frac{1 N}{1 m^{2}} = 1 p a s c a l$
3. Hence, pressure is said to be one pascal if a force of one newton acts perpendicular to an area of one-meter square.
