When two lines meet each other at a right angle then those lines are referred to as perpendicular lines. When a line intersects another line at90º, then we say that the line is perpendicular to it. The symbol used for the perpendicular is . For example, if line L1 meets line L2 at 90º then we can say that L1 and L2 are perpendicular to each other and can be represented as L1L2.
