Open in App
Solution

Part1: Fahrenheit scale:

  • The Fahrenheit scale was named after the German physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit.
  • It makes use of the degree Fahrenheit symbol: “F” as the unit
  • On the Fahrenheit scale, the freezing point of water is 32° Fand its boiling point is212°F
  • 212°F-32°F=180°F

Part 2: Celcius scale:

  • The Celsius scale refers to a temperature scale that is used by the international system of units (SI).
  • The degree Celsius symbol °C can refer to a particular temperature on this scale.
  • The scale is named after Anders Celsius who was a Swedish astronomer.
  • On the Celcius scale, the freezing point of water is 0°C and its boiling point is100°C.
  • 100°C-0°C=100°C

Part 3: Conversion of °C to °F :

First, multiply by 180100 or 95 and then add 32 .

So, the formula for °C to °F is:

°F=(°C×95)+32
