Differentiate between Cutting and Grafting

In cutting, only one plant is involved. A stem can be cut and developed into new plants when planted in moist soil. Primary meristem is required.

    In Grafting, two or more plants are involved. Grafting involves joining the parts of two different plants in such a way that they unite and continue their growth as a single plant. It does not a need primary meristem.
