Differentiate between inherited and acquired characters. Give one example for each type.

An acquired trait is the character developed in an individual as a result of environmental influence.  Inherited traits that are inherited from the parents to the offspring. Hair, skin, eye colour, body type, height, and susceptibility to certain diseases are some examples of inherited traits in humans.

Ex: colour of seeds, colour of eyes. Ex: obese body, loss of a finger in an accident.
