Differentiate between saturated and unsaturated solutions.

A solution that cannot dissolve any more quantity of solute in a given amount of solvent at a given temperature. The saturated solution can also be made unsaturated by adding more solvent to it. The solution in which more solute can be added at given temperature is an unsaturated solution. A supersaturated solution can be prepared by preparing a saturated solution at a higher than desired temperature then allowing it to cool, decreasing the solubility of the solute.
