  3. The kidneys discharge urea in the form of urine.
  4. The urinary system consists of a pair of kidneys, a pair of ureters, a urinary bladder, and a urethra.

Functions performed:

1) formation of urine: kidney

2) a long tube that collects urine from the kidney: ureter

3) store urine until it is passed out: urinary bladder

When the urinary bladder fills, the urine passes out of the body by the urethra.
