  1. The leaf has different parts such as epidermis, cuticle, and palisade layer.
  2. The epidermis is the outer layer of the leaf.
  3. The cuticle is the wax covering of the leaf.
  4. It is present above the epidermis and secreted from the epidermis.
  5. The palisade layer is present below the epidermis and has an irregular arrangement of cells.
  6. The Palisade layer contains chloroplasts.
  7. Stomata are present in the epidermis.
  8. Xylem and phloem are also there in the leaf known as vascular bundles.
