Explain How Deforestation Leads To Reduced Rainfall?

Rainfall is one of the most important aspects of an ecosystem. Water vapours condense in the Earth’s atmosphere to form clouds and hence the precipitation. Trees are the chief sources of water evaporation. The act of deforestation where trees are chopped causing less water to be absorbed from the soil, hence indirectly affecting the water cycle as the formation of clouds becomes difficult hence leading to reduced rainfall.
