Explain Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

NMR is also called Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. It’s a physical phenomenon. When external magnetic field in applied magnetic nuclei absorb as we will as re-emits radiations that are electromagnetic. This energy that is present is actually at a specific resonance frequency. and; and; All Nuclei are electrically charged in nature. If an external magnetic field (B0) is applied to an Hydrogen atom, the nuclei spin will align with the field. . Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a technique is based on the Principle that when the hydrogen atoms (of water molecules) are subjected to a very strong magnetic field as we will as radio waves, hydrogen atoms release protons. It was first developed by Felix Bloch as we will as Purcell in USA (1946). They shared the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1952 Thisand;technique is also called Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It has its wide applications in analyzing molecular structure as we will as also for determining purity of the sample. . . . . . . . . .
