Working of the motor in mixer

  1. The motor used in the mixer grinder is a universal motor.
  2. As the shaft rotates, the commutator segments that come in contact with the brushes also change.
  3. Field windings in the stator and rotor windings are connected in series through the rotor commutator.
  4. The universal motor can run on both AC and DC.
  5. They have high starting torque and speed.
  6. The blades in a mixer start to rotate when electricity is provided to the mixer grinder.
  7. In a mixer, mechanical energy is obtained from electrical energy.
  8. In the magnetic field, a coil is placed.
  9. When a current runs in the coil, the coil experiences a magnetic force that causes it to rotate.
