Explain what is electro magnetic induction?

If we place conductor in electric field it gives rise to current flow in the conductor which in turns generates magnetic field around the conductor.

It is clear from the point (I) electric field à generates current in a conductor à current carrying (moving charges) generates magnetic field \(left( overrightarrow{B} right)\) one can have a question, whether electric field can be produced by magnetic field?

Faraday gave answer to this question. Experimentally Faraday observed.

An electric field \(left( overrightarrow{E} right)\) could be produced by time varying magnetic field. This is known as electro magnetic induction.
