Thermometer:

A thermometer is a tool used to measure the temperature or temperature of an object. It contains a glass tube inside that contains a liquid known as mercury. A simple indoor thermometer is shown below:

Working principle:

  1. A thermometer works on the principle that solids and liquids tend to expand with temperature.
